Comment: John Irving has always been an exceptionally moral and decent man.This has been shared with his fellow humans beautifully in his novels, and in his book "On Moral Fiction". The message he has in this current book, "Don't label me. Let me show you who I am." is probably not going to be seen by as wide an audience as it needs to be, because he wrapped it in a very controversial content. I think what shocks people more is when you show them they do this in what they think are mundane circumstances.
