Two black men became a judge in the 1970s and in 2009. http://www.fatcatvideo.net/VideoDetail.aspx?pv=clip&assetId=va_id-3032740 Thu, 17 Nov 2011 00:00:00 GMT FOX6 News http://www.fatcatvideo.net/VideoDetail.aspx?pv=clip&assetId=va_id-3007252 Wed, 09 Nov 2011 00:00:00 GMT Chattanooga police need your help in finding a man who gunned down a father inside his own home. it happened almost five years ago to the day .. in broad daylight. we re-visit this case as part of a special series here on wdef .. called cold cases. now, since 2007, no one has come up with any information on this murder whatsoever. so, now we're calling on you... in this cold case. each window here represents a secret that has been boarded up for the last five years. november 21st 2006 .. ira hall junior could be found sitting on his front porch with his cousin around two in the afternoon. that's when, according to reports, a dark car pulled up, and two black men forced the cousins inside. while inside the house, ira was robbed, and shot several times. but before that, the initial report says the suspects ordered hall to give up the keys to his mother's house because quote that's where he kept all of his money. hall did, but his cousin says hall charged at the gunman .. and that's when he was sprayed with bullets.he was shot in his head, back, arm, hand. s-up . at the sound of gunshots, hall's cousin .. vincent alexander .. dove out of this now boarded up window .. and ran for help. all the while this self-proclaimed "daddy's girl" was loosing her father. little did police know at the time .. that what they scratched down on this notepad .. would essentially be the last information collected on this case.nobody ever came forward nobody ever told them anything to follow up on. this has always been a quiet community neighborhood. and not much has changed, except for the fact that most of hall's family moved to atlanta. the stillness in ways reflects this case. police say in 2007, they tried to get in touch with alexander, so he could help with a photo line-up, but they couldn't find him. and to this day, they still can't. at the beginning of this he claimed he doesn't know who it is. that very well might be the truth, but at the same time its been five years. maybe he's seen these guys again, maybe he'd identified who they are. he may be scared for his own life. i don't know. police believe alexander may be homeless or not in this area anymore, either way they want to speak to him, and anyone with details on this murder. a lot of times with our open cases, we'll have family members call in every now and then just to see where things stand. this is not one of those cases where anybody has called to talk about it. hall and alexander's families also turned down all our requests for interviews. but, even if they don't want to speak up ..police say do it for the one whose voice was stifled by a handgun. speaking up could .. not only unlock these secrets, but change a community. sometimes all it takes is a voice to return some color to an otherwise grey community. one of the suspects is thought to be black, about five-eight, with braided hair. the other suspect is thought to be a little taller, about five-eleven, slender build, also with braided hair. if you have any information, you're asked to call chattanooga police immediately. http://www.fatcatvideo.net/VideoDetail.aspx?pv=clip&assetId=va_id-2970545 Thu, 27 Oct 2011 00:00:00 GMT The protesters are adding another allegation to the list ..saying officers are targeting young black men in the community when they're not doing anything wrong.
